How to Swap a Shift (2-Way)

A two-way swap is used when you would like someone to work one of your current shifts and you will work one of their shifts in return.

To make a two-way swap, you must select the shift you want to give up and the shift that you are willing to work in return. To assist in this process, Tangier will highlight potential swap candidates based on their current schedule assignments and scheduling preferences. You also may make your own selections if desired. Two-way swaps can be made between different months or locations, as long as the schedule has been published for the location and time-frame of your desired swap shift.

Once you have established the shifts that will be involved in the swap, Tangier will notify the selected swap candidate via email. The swap candidate must then explicitly accept your request via their Tangier Web Personal Calendar before the swap is official. Once your swap request is accepted, your scheduler will be automatically notified and the master schedule will be automatically updated.
