How to Change Shift Times

This help topic explains how to change a shift's start\end time on an ongoing basis.

Important: Since Off Requests and Shift Requests may reference the shift you need to change, Tangier's Change Shift logic automatically ensures that all schedule requests are updated to reflect the new shift time. Failure to use the Change Shift logic as described below could result in schedule requests not being honored by Tangier, since the request might reference a shift that is no longer active.

Note: Tangier's Adjust Planned task should be used if you want to change a shift's start/end times on a specific date (e.g. July 4th, etc.).

1) Go to the Tangier EPS Location Screen.

2) Go to the Tangier EPS Location Screen 'Shift Map' tab.

3) Select shift to be changed.

4) Click 'Change Shift' button.

5) Enter new shift information.

6) Save changes.

6) Go to the Tangier EPS Schedule Screen and review changes.
